Harvey Elliott could be heading to Germany

RB Leipzig have reportedly made contact with Liverpool regarding a move for Harvey Elliott, with Xavi Simons expected to leave for Chelsea.

Simons, 22, informed the German club of his intention to leave earlier in the summer and has since been in talks over a move to Chelsea.

According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, RB Leipzig have reached out to Liverpool regarding the availability of Elliott.

It was previously reported that Liverpool were open to selling the attacking midfielder this summer, valuing him at 340million plus a buy-back option, or above 350m without one.

Elliott started just two Premier League matches for Liverpool last season, with both of them coming after the title was won.
