DONE DEAL: Regis Le Bris Pens New Sunderland Contract Ahead of Premier League Comeback

Sunderland have confirmed that head coach Regis Le Bris has signed a new contract, securing his future ahead of the club’s highly anticipated return to the Premier League.

The 49-year-old led Sunderland back to the promised land of the Premier League after a dramatic comeback win over Sheffield United in the play-off final.

Sunderland have since signed eight new players, spending 3113.6 million in the process as they hope to avoid the fate of last season’s promoted sides.

Le Bris has now committed his future to the club, signing a new three-year deal that will keep him on Wearside until summer 2028.

Speaking to the club’s in-house media team after the announcement, he said: “The connection I have with the staff, players, and supporters has been natural, and we shared many great moments together.0

“The collective ambition is there to see and now, there is a desire to become stronger. I can feel the energy and intent to push forward, and we need that in the next challenges we will face.0
