Arsenal in Talks with Stuttgart Over Exit for Forgotten Midfielder Fabio Vieira

Fabio Vieira’s time at Arsenal could soon come to an end, with the Gunners now in active negotiations with Bundesliga side Stuttgart.

The 25-year-old spent last season back on loan with former club FC Porto after failing to establish himself under Mikel Arteta.

Viera had an impressive season back in Portugal, scoring five goals and providing six assists in his 42 games across all competitions.

Now, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, German club Stuttgart have opened talks with Arsenal over a permanent deal for the midfielder.

Stuttgart have been forced to enter the market after Atletico Madrid saw their did for Enzo Millot hijacked by Saudi club Al-Ahli.

Ornstein adds that Arsenal are looking for a ‘respectable price’ for Viera, who joined from Porto for a reported fee of €40 million back in 2022.
