Chelsea legend David Luiz joins Champions League club

Former Chelsea and Brazil star David Luiz (38) has made a surprising return to European football by joining Champions League club Pafos FC in Cyprus.

After leaving Europe in 2021 following two years at Arsenal, the defender spent time with Brazilian clubs Flamengo and Fortaleza.0

He is currently sidelined with a thigh injury and will miss the first leg of Pafos’ Champions League third-round qualifier against Dynamo Kyiv on Tuesday.
