Clinton Morrison exclusive: Two stars out of three will be sold by Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace hero Clinton Morrison believes Jean-Philippe Mateta will stay for the new season.

However, Morrison can see Ebere Eze being sold to Arsenal and skipper Marc Guehi also departing given his contract situation.

He told Tribalfootball.com: "Yeah, yeah. I think Mateta will stay. I do think Mateta will stay. I do. See, it's a difficult one with Marc Guehi. I think Marc Guehi has a year left. So the thing is, Palace—what do you do? Like, keep him and let him walk on a free or do you cash in and try and get the money?

"Well, at the end of the day, you've got to make money. So I think he's the one most likely—I think—could go in this window. It is dragging. I do think obviously Liverpool might come. Remember, we can go till September 1st. So I think there might be a situation where he goes.

"If Arsenal pay the money, then Eze’s going to go, and then you lose two of your brightest—and your best player in Eze—to top clubs. But I get it. If Arsenal come knocking and they pay the money, I can't have any qualms with Eze saying, 'I want to go and try to challenge for the title and play Champions League football'.

"He's 26, 27. He's at that age now where he wants to be playing Champions League football. And I think he's good enough."
