Simons attempts to push RB Leipzig into Chelsea agreement
RB Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons is ready to join Chelsea.
Chelsea and RBL are haggling over a fee for the Holland international, with negotiations now at an advanced stage.
For his part, Simons is ready to leave, having deleted RBL in his social media profile.
Chelsea and RBL are close to reaching terms over a fee "verbally", according to Sky Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg. However, no firm bid has yet been tabled.
Chelsea need to sell before closing a deal for Simons, who is rated at €60-70m by his Bundesliga club.
