Amorim shares thoughts on Man Utd keepers amid Martinez links

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has shared his thoughts on the club’s current group of goalkeepers amid ongoing interest in Argentine star Emiliano Martinez.

The Red Devils recently made a loan approach to Aston Villa for the Argentine, but the Midlands club quickly rejected the proposal.

"We are always looking to improve the team. And we have some characteristics that we would like to have,” Amorim told the media when asked if a new goalkeeper will be added to his squad.

"But again, it depends on the market. It depends on the sales. We'll see. But I'm really happy. And I think even when you talk about Andre, you can see the goalkeepers.0

"Even Tom (Heaton) is learner, he's a different goalkeeper. Altay (Bayindir) did really well, and Onana is going to be better like the other guys that are getting better this year."
