Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang praised Mason Greenwood as a “star boy” and expressed his excitement about linking up with the English forward at Marseille.

The 36-year-old striker returns to the French club after a short stint with Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah, which he left on a free transfer earlier this month.0

He has reportedly signed a new deal keeping him at Marseille until the summer of 2027.

"He's the star boy! He's very strong, very good. I really liked his season and now he's working even harder than last season,” the African said.

“In Saudi Arabia, I had a teammate who had played with him in Spain and he told me he was a phenomenon. I'm happy he's with us."
