Tottenham have reportedly have discussions with Bayern Munich over a potential move for midfielder Joao Palhinha as they eye their fourth signing of the summer.

According to The Athletic, Spurs are hoping to bring the 30-year-old to North London on loan after a disappointing spell at Bayern.

Palhinha joined Vincent Kompay’s side from Fulham last summer but made just 25 appearances across all competitions for the Bundesliga champions.

Bayern are ready to part ways with the Portugal international, and Spurs have entered discussions with them over terms.

Tottenham have already made three permanent signings so far this summer, with Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel, and Kota Takai all joining.
