Meet Benjamin Sesko's girlfriend with big age gap who could cheer on £60m star at Man Utd

Benjamin Sesko has been on the radar of several Premier League clubs this summer, including Manchester United and Newcastle. Meanwhile, his girlfriend, Anita Vidovic, has also turned heads.

Sesko, 22, has been a shining star for RB Leipzig, netting 21 goals in all competitions during the 2024/25 season. Despite the Bundesliga side's underwhelming campaign, which saw them miss out on a top-four finish, the Slovenian international remained a steady powerhouse on the field.

Ruben Amorim and the United bosses are admirers of Sesko, but they're not alone. Newcastle are also pursuing a move to sign Sesko, especially as Alexander Isak has made it clear he wants to leave St James' Park this summer.

According to Cosmopolitan, the 27-year-old hails from Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital, and is a graduate of the Faculty of Public Administration.

Anita is no stranger to the football world. Her brother Boris has clocked up 25 professional appearances in Germany and Poland's lower leagues, turning out for squads like TSV Bicken and Ritzing.

The 28-year-old retired from football in 2024 and has since dabbled in reality telly, making a splash as a Casa Amor bombshell in Love Island's twelfth series. While it's not confirmed, it's likely that Vidovic backs Sesko just like his sister, who is often seen donning her boyfriend's kit on social media.

The Leipzig forward keeps his love life low-key on his socials, with Anita only popping up occasionally in his Instagram posts. On the other hand, the 27-year-old WAG frequently showcases her beau's romantic gestures on her TikTok.

Racking up roughly 20,000 views per video, Anita shares Sesko's sweet moments for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. Her feed is filled with clips of them dancing, cuddling and globetrotting together, along with her cheering him on from the stands at Leipzig.

In an early 2025 post, Anita put together a montage of their romantic times and captioned it, "It was always you," followed by a white heart emoji.

The footage shows Sesko playing with a young lion cub, showing off his golf swing, enjoying a basketball game and busting some moves on a boat with his girlfriend.

United fans will be crossing their fingers that Anita can sway her man to pick the Red Devils over other potential Premier League clubs, but it seems her influence might not be needed.

Sesko is said to be impressed with United's project and their eagerness to seal the deal. It's hinted that he's been given a clear picture of his potential earnings and role in Amorim's blueprint.

There's speculation surrounding a 'gentlemen's agreement' between Sesko and Leipzig, hinting that the 22-year-old might be on the move to a 'special club'.

However, Eddie Howe's Carabao Cup victors are also reportedly in the running for Sesko, and their Champions League spot could sway the Slovenian ace.

With other clubs circling Sesko, it seems Amorim and United's chiefs will need to move quickly to lure the striker to Old Trafford. However, Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins is another name on United's hit list, suggesting they won't be signing both.
