Chelsea Reach ‘Total Agreement’ with Ajax for Signing of Wonderkid Jorrel Hato

Chelsea have reportedly taken a big step towards the signing of wonderkid Jorrel Hato after reaching a 'total agreement' with Dutch giants Ajax.

Enzo Maresca’s side have been pushing to sign the 19-year-old for the past week and have now reached a ‘total agreement’ with Ajax over a move.0

According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Chelsea will pay a fee of over €40 million for Hato, with the deal including a sell-on clause.

He adds that Hato will sign a seven-year deal at the West London club, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2032.

Hato is capable of playing both as a left-back and a centre-back and is widely expected to be the understudy to Marc Cucurella.
