Liverpool ready "to go big" for wantaway Newcastle striker Isak

Liverpool are ready to "go all in" for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.

Isak is currently on Tyneside, with Newcastle's Asian preseason tour underway, after handing in a transfer request on Thursday.

Liverpool are readying a 3120m move for the Sweden international - this despite the 379m arrival of Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt.

And transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting: "Liverpool are prepared to go big for Alexander Isak after Luis Diaz sale done.

"Isak, keen on the move and not even in talks with Saudi clubs. Only Liverpool. Up to Newcastle now, with #LFC waiting but ready to enter strong with record proposal."

In recent hours, Liverpool have accepted a €75m offer from Bayern Munich for Luis Diaz and released the winger from their Asian tour squad in order to fly to Munich for his Bayern medical.
