Man City boss Guardiola delivers definitive answer to Barcelona return question

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has ruled out a coaching return to Barcelona.

Guardiola has long been linked with a return to Barca, particularly with Joan Laporta as president.

The City manager, himself, has even raised the prospect of coaching again inside the La Masia academy.

But on Sunday, speaking to local Spanish reporters, Guardiola has ruled out any chance of a potential return to the Blaugrana.

"Barcelona? It's over. Over forever. It was very nice, but it's over," said Guardiola.

As Barca coach, the Catalan won the LaLiga title three times and the Champions League twice.
