Real Madrid Ramp Up William Saliba Chase with Arsenal Talks Planned

Real Madrid reportedly remain determined to land Arsenal defender William Saliba, with a club delegation set to open negotiations over a potential blockbuster move.

According to Cadena SER, Real Madrid want to bring in a new defender with Saliba, 24, sat right at the top of their shortlist.

Multiple reports have since revealed that the Spanish giants are set to send a delegation over to London in order to try and negotiate a deal with Arsenal.

The North London club are understood to be reluctant to sell the France international, who has two years remaining on his deal at the Emirates.

Real Madrid have also been heavily linked with a move for Saliba’s countryman Ibrahma Konate from Liverpool.

Konate is seen as an easier target to obtain, with his deal in the Premier League set to expire at the end of the 2025-26 season and talks over an extension stalling.
