PSG closely monitoring Rodrygo’s Real Madrid situation alongside Liverpool

According to a report from Florian Plettenberg, Paris Saint-Germain are closely monitoring Real Madrid's Rodrygo (24), who has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in recent days. Les Parisiens have reportedly expressed their interest, and are looking out for a young top class winger. Yet Plettenberg reports their approach will depend on other market opportunities.

This comes after Foot Mercato reported yesterday that Liverpool have already reached out to the Brazilian international's entourage over a potential move, but that no club to club talks have yet taken place.

The 24 year-old's contract with Real Madrid runs until 2028 after renewing his deal only two years ago. Liverpool are, according to L'Equipe, planning to replace a potentially Bayern Munich-bound Luis Diaz by moving for the Real Madrid winger.

The Brazilian has scored 68 goals and registered 51 assists in 270 games with Real Madrid, where he won two Champions League titles (2022, 2024) during his career.
