Leeds are weighing up a move for Feyenoord striker Igor Paixao as they look to boost their Premier League survival hopes this season.

Leeds are looking to follow in the footsteps of promotion rivals Sunderland and splash the cash on a few important signings this summer, with Paixao near the top of the list for attacking reinforcements.

Marseille are also said to be interested in the Brazilian, but Feyenoord have set an asking price of at least £24million, a fee Roberto De Zerbi's side are not willing to pay. As a result, Leeds could be in the driving seat to land the 25-year-old as Daniel Farke looks to build a squad capable of surviving in the Premier League this season.
