Como coach Cesc insists never being tempted by AC Milan, Bayer rumours

Como coach Cesc Fabregas insists he's happy where he is.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona star has been linked with bigger clubs this summer, including AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen.

But Cesc ultimately remained with Como after a superb first season coaching in Serie A.

He told Sky Italia: "It's been a fun summer, because I've learned so much, especially at Coverciano. Three straight weeks, with all my teammates. It was incredible. Then there was the transfer market, preparing for the retreat... In short, not much vacation. But I'm having fun, I like it, and I'm very happy.

"I don't read much. I'm very happy with what I do. I'm very sincere and open, I always try to do things directly, and that's why I'm calm. My life has always been like this, very fast-paced, even more so as a coach.

"I'm very happy at Como, with the people I work with, from the club to the staff. We have a young team, with a great desire to grow, and a president who lets us work as we want, with a staff that works 24/7 to improve. Even if it doesn't seem like it, we're just getting started."

Cesc added, "My staff and I work very hard on hunger, attitude, and mentality. We want kids who have these characteristics and who want to grow. We can be a point of reference to help them grow, and they can help the club grow."
