Kylian Mbappe Gets His Wish with New Real Madrid Shirt Number After Summer Shake-Up

Kylian Mbappe has finally secured his desired number ten shirt at Real Madrid following the departure of legendary midfielder Luka Modric.

Mbappe, 26, wore the number ten while at PSG but when he made the move to Real Madrid, it was already taken by Modric.

The 39-year-old has since left the club, joining Italian giants AC Milan, feeling up the iconic number for the prolific Frenchman.

According to Marca, Mbappe is set to trade the number nine, worn by fellow iconic French forward Karim Benzema, for the number ten.

Mbappe impressed in his first season in Spain, even if Real Madrid didn’t win a trophy, scoring 44 goals and providing five assists in his 59 games.
