Everton Eye Bayern Munich Starlet as Ashley Young Successor Amid La Liga Interest

Everton have set their sights on a Bayern Munich youngster Adam Aznou as a long-term replacement for veteran Ashley Young, but face stiff competition from La Liga clubs for the defender’s signature.

According to a report from The Athletic, David Moyes’ side have now joined several La Liga clubs in the race to sign the 19-year-old.

It’s understood Everton see Aznou as a potential successor to Young, 40, who left the club when his contract expired at the end of last season.

Everton are looking to reinforce their left-back position as the only have Vitalii Mykolenko capable of playing there naturally.

Previous reports had suggested Aznou was on the verge of joining Getafe but that didn’t materialise. Real Betis have also been linked.
