Man United winger Alejandro Garnacho has distanced himself from a potential move to Aston Villa, prioritising a transfer to a Champions League club instead.

The 21-year-old has been left in England as his teammates head to the US for their pre-season tour as he tries to find a new club.

According to ESPN, Unai Emery is pushing for Villa to sign Garnacho this summer, but the player would prefer a move to a Champions League club.

Chelsea and Tottenham have both also been linked with the young winger, with the former having made an approach back in January.

United have reportedly dropped their asking price for Garnacho down to 340 million as they seek funds to rebuild following their worst ever Premier League campaign.
