Gibbs-White's fiancee posted this on her story on Sunday

His fiancee, Britney De Villiers, posted a photo from a hospital bed on to her Instagram story last night.

The Instagram and TikTok influencer, who is heavily pregnant, uploaded the picture with the caption: "To all the mamas who are dealing with or have dealt with a high risk pregnancy, my heart really goes out to you and I want you to know you're not alone.

"This has been one of the hardest things I've dealt with and I just don't really remember a time I wasn't overwhelmed with stress."

Gibbs-White and De Villiers got engaged while away in Lake Como, Italy in June.

The pair already share a son together, Greyson, who was born in 2023.

The Telegraph report that Gibbs-White's absence is due to a private and personal matter completely unrelated to football.

The England international, who played in the 0-0 draws with Chesterfield and Monaco in his side's other recent pre-season clashes, is expected to join up with the team later this week.Forest are currently in a stand-off with Tottenham over a deal for him despite Spurs meeting his £60million release clause.

The club issued legal complaints to Spurs and Gibbs-White's representatives, arguing they did not give permission to approach their star man.

They also cite breach of confidentiality of the release clause, given they did not tell Tottenham of its existence.

They are yet to take their formal complaint to the Premier League, who would be obliged to investigate any objection they receive.

After facing Premier League rivals Fulham, Forest will take on Estoril Praia, Birmingham City,Fiorentina and Al Qadisiyah before getting their new season underway.
