Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres faces backlash from fans during a pre-season loss to Celtic, with a transfer to Arsenal reportedly close.

The 27-year-old finally looks set to seal a move to North London after one of the more drawn-out transfer sagas so far this summer.

Arsenal have agreed fixed upfront fee of €63.5 million (355 million) and €10 million in potential add-ons with Sporting.

Gyokeres refused to report for pre-season training with the Portuguese champions in an attempt to force the move through, something the fans voiced their opinion about during the 2-0 defeat to Celtic.

As per The Sun, the first banner read: "I don't cry for those who leave, I'm happy for those who stay."

Another message was revealed in the second half, reading: "No one is above the club's interests, no matter who they are."
