Chelsea superstar Cole Palmer reveals the surprising message he received from Donald Trump following their 3-0 Club World Cup final win over PSG.

The 23-year-old scored two goals and provided the assist for Joao Pedro as Chelsea secured a shock win over European champions PSG in the FIFA Club World Cup Final.

Palmer subsequently won the Player of the Tournament award, along with the Man of the Match, receiving the trophy from US President Donald Trump.

He has now revealed exactly what Trump said to him during Chelsea’s trophy celebrations along with his response.

“When he gave me the award, he said his son is my biggest fan.” Palmer told the Daily Mail during a trip to St Kitts & Nevis. “I can’t remember what I said. I think I said ‘Thank you’ or something.”
