Juventus reach agreement with Porto over Conceicao signing – reports

Juventus are poised to sign Francisco Conceicao on a permanent deal after reportedly reaching an agreement with Porto.

Conceicao joined Juve on loan from Porto last August and scored five goals in all competitions while providing three assists.

He then found the net twice for Juve at the Club World Cup, which they exited in the last 16.

A star of Portugal's Nations League triumph in June, Conceicao's contract with Porto contains a €30million release clause.

That figure was reportedly set to escalate to €45million if an agreement was not struck by midnight on Wednesday.

However, the two clubs are said to have reached a resolution, with Juve agreeing to pay the €30m fee in four instalments.

Juve have already made five signings this summer after finishing fourth in Serie A to qualify for the Champions League but ending the 2024-25 season without a major trophy.

Striker Jonathan David joined on a free transfer from Lille, while loan deals for Nicolas Gonzalez, Pierre Kalulu, Michele Di Gregorio and Lloyd Kelly all became permanent.
