Bayern Munich are ready compete with Barcelona to secure a transfer for Liverpool winger Luis Diaz this summer. The Bundesliga giants are looking for a quality left-wing option and have put the Colombian in their shortlist. The German champions, though, are yet to initiate formal transfer talks with the Reds as they are still evaluating their options.

According to Sky Sports' Florian Plettenberg, Diaz could be sold in the summer if a suitable offer comes Liverpool's way. The Colombia international is also being linked with a move to Barcelona, who have identified the winger as a possible option after their pursuit of Nico Williams hit a snag.

Bayern are also closing in on securing a move for Stuttgart's Nick Woltemade, as the player has reportedly agreed to move to Munich. Plettenberg, however, claims that irrespective of Woltemade's move, the Bundesliga winners are considering Diaz as a serious target.
