Wirtz decided on Liverpool move 'months' ago

German sensation Florian Wirtz made it clear "months" ago that he wanted to leave Bayer Leverkusen for Liverpool, according to Germany chief Rudi Voller.

Speaking on Toni Kroos' podcast 'Einfach Mal Luppen', Voller said: "A few months ago, he hinted to me, as did his father, that he was inclined to go to Liverpool."

Benjamin Sesko's agent, Elvis Basanovic, has warned Arsenal that the striker will not try to force his way out of RB Leipzig this summer.

Arsenal are expected to pursue a striker this summer and continue to be linked with a move for Sesko. The north Londoners are said to have "reached an agreement" with Sesko over a move but still need to strike a deal with Leipzig. The Bundesliga side are believed to want a massive €80 million-€100m (£68m-£85m) for Sesko, a price Arsenal have so far refused to match.

Douglas Luiz has been linked with a move away from Juventus this summer after spending just a year in Turin. Sheffield United have appointed Ruben Selles as their new manager after mutually parting ways with Chris Wilder.

The official statement from the club read: "Sheffield United have moved swiftly to fill the managerial hot seat at Bramall Lane, appointing a boss with Premier League and Championship experience. Ruben Selles is the new Blades manager and moves to S2 having signed a three-year deal with the club. Further coaching appointments will follow in due course."

Arsenal learn Rodrygo asking price after holding talks with winger

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Arsenal reportedly held talks with Rodrygo in May, and they have now learned Real Madrid's asking price for the Brazilian winger.

Jacobs claims that Los Blancos are expected to demand a whopping €90 million (£77m/$103.6m) for the Brazilian. It now remains to be seen if Arsenal will be willing to pay that sum, although they hold concrete interest in signing the attacker.

Ajax sign Jaros from Liverpool on loan

Ajax have completed the signing of Liverpool goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros on loan. The official statement from the club read: "Ajax have reached an agreement with Liverpool and Vitezslav Jaros.
