Everton keen to rival Fenerbahce for Walker

Per journalist Mike McGrath, Everton have shown interest in signing Kyle Walker after the Manchester City star failed to secure an AC Milan move.

Last week, reports emerged in the Turkish media that Fenerbahce are keen on signing the veteran full-back as Jose Mourinho is aiming to bolster his squad ahead of the new season. Fenerbahce have even formally submitted an offer to City for the 35-year-old defender.

According to The Times, Atletico Madrid have already identified Andy Robertson's alternative in case Liverpool do not agree to let the player leave for free. Diego Simeone's side is reportedly keen on signing Lucas Digne from Aston Villa, who, like Robertson, has only a year left in his existing deal. Digne has prior experience of playing in Spain as he spent two years at Barcelona before moving to Everton in 2018.

The official statement from the club read: "Wrexham AFC are delighted to announce the signing of striker Ryan Hardie from Plymouth Argyle for an undisclosed fee, pending international clearance and registration. Hardie has signed a contract until the end of the 2027/28 season and becomes our first new signing of the 2025 summer transfer window."
