Paris Saint-Germain AGREE deal for Bournemouth defender

Paris Saint-Germain had arguably the most dominant Champions League final win in the tournament's history.

Beating Inter Milan 5-0 in the Munich final, it is a performance that will be talked about for many years to come.

With a core of exciting young players, this PSG side could dominate Europe for years.

The city of Paris finally has a European champion, and their team is expected to go from strength to strength.

They already appear to have found their next young talent.

Brazilian captain Marquinhos has been at the club since 2013.

He signed from Roma for a fee of €31.45 million.

With almost 500 appearances for the club in all competitions, he is a club legend.

However, at the age of 31, his time in Paris may be coming to an end.

Known for his defensive awareness, he has the potential to replicate former teammate Thiago Silva and play at a good level until his late thirties.

As a captain of a Champions League winning side, his stock will be high.

The Paris board may feel the time is right to cash in whilst they can.

Paris Saint-Germain agree deal for Bournemouth defender

It has been reported that PSG have agreed personal terms on a five-year contract for Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi.

The south coast club have already lost fellow centre-back Dean Huijsen this summer to Real Madrid.

Losing another young defender will be a bitter blow to Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola.

In a sad reality for most clubs in the Premier League, the lure of Madrid and Paris will be too tough a prospect for young players to turn down.

Zabarnyi, 22, has only missed three Premier League games in the past two seasons put together.

Not only does this show the Ukrainian's talent but also his durability.

This will be an asset to PSG manager Luis Enrique, one the club has probably already looked at when deciding whether to sign him.
