THE BIGGER PICTURE
The Scottish international purchased six new flats in Glasgow on April 28 in a bid to expand his real estate business Twenty Two Investment Properties Ltd, which he runs with long-time partner Georgina Bell. The couple are reportedly set to exchange vows this summer. The properties are apparently located near River Clyde in the port city, valued at £275,000, £220,000, £215,000, £215,000, £175,000 and £160,000 each. The total money spent amounts to a mind-boggling £1.26 million (€1.5m/$1.7m).
DID YOU KNOW?
The 30-year-old left Scottish heavyweights Celtic in 2021 and has been a Bournemouth player ever since. He is also a full-time international for Scotland since 2017, earning 59 caps. Despite missing the last months of the season after suffering a groin injury, Christie was named Bournemouth's Player of the Season as the Cherries recorded a ninth-place finish on the Premier League table.
WHAT NEXT FOR RYAN CHRISTIE?
Christie missed the international friendlies against Lichtenstein and Iceland earlier this month due to injury. However, he is expected to recover before the end of the month. He will then link-up with his Bournemouth team-mates next month ahead of their pre-season friendlies against Hibernian and Bristol City, followed by the Premier League Summer Series in the USA, which is a friendly pre-season tournament.
