A star-studded panel has been revealed for DAZN's international coverage of the upcoming Club World Cup in the United States. It's the first edition of the revamped tournament, with 32 teams from around the globe set to battle it out in a bid to become world champions.

Manchester City and Chelsea have qualified for the tournament as the Premier League's representatives by virtue of their Champions League triumphs in 2023 and 2021 respectively. Elsewhere, the likes of Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid are all set to be involved in the summer tournament.

In the UK, Channel 5 will broadcast 23 of the tournament's 63 matches, including three of City and Chelsea's group stage fixtures and next month's final.

The tournament follows the same format as a regular World Cup, with the 32 clubs split into eight groups of four, where the top two teams progress into the knockouts. From there, it's a single-match elimination format, starting with a round-of-16, right through to the final, which is scheduled to take place in New York on July 13.

City, who are technically the reigning champions, having won the final edition of the previous format in 2023, have been drawn against Wydad, Al Ain and Juventus in their group. While Chelsea, who finished fourth in the Premier League, will play against Los Angeles FC, Flamengo and Esperance Sportive de Tunis.

A whopping prize is on offer to the competing teams, with a pot of £775million to be shared between the competitors. It's estimated that if the triumphant side comes from a UEFA nation, the winner's share could climb to £97m.
