Fernandes-Neves
Ruben Neves is eager for Portugal team-mate Bruno Fernandes to join him at Al-Hilal as the Manchester United star mulls an offer from the Saudi club.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Fernandes is considering a huge move to the Saudi Pro League, with the club prepared to pay him £200 million over three years. The Manchester United skipper is still deciding on whether to accept the £700,000 per week offer, with Portuguese compatriot Neves hoping he makes the move.

WHAT NEVES SAID
Portugal and Al-Hilal midfielder Neves told A Bola: "I recommend all the players in the national team, of course. Portugal has produced a lot of talent and continues to do so. We are a lucky country in that respect. We are also very hard-working. A very small country but one that has produced excellent players. I would like to have any player from the national team in my team."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Fernandes held face-to-face talks with Al-Hilal officials in Riyadh this week, with Mail Sport sources citing a "positive" meeting. He claimed after United's Europa League final defeat that he would leave if the club want to "cash in" on him.

WHAT NEXT FOR AL-HILAL?
Al-Hilal want to get a deal for Fernandes done soon as they prepare for the Club World Cup later this month. They are also hoping to convince Inter boss Simone Inzaghi to take over as head coach ahead of the tournament.
