Football star booted off team for x-rated snaps now earns 'one hundred times more'

A glamorous 21-year-old futsal star who was booted out of her team for posting raunchy snaps on an x-rated website has told how she is earning a hundred times more with her soccer strip.

As a semi-pro star playing in Pelotas, in Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul state, blonde Marcela Soares earned just BRL 550 (£71.55) a month, which barely covered her travel costs to training.

But after just four weeks on the platform Marcela says she has netted an eye-watering BRL 55,000 (£7,155).

She was sacked when club officials discovered her side hustle saying she had brought the club into disrepute.

But Marcela, who has 240,000 Instagram followers, explained: "I love futsal, it's my passion forever. But I can't stay somewhere that tries to control who I am outside of the game."

She added: "I never stopped being the athlete I always was, and I never disrespected the club.

"But I was told I was setting a bad example for children."

One steamy clip is captioned: "Do you like me hairy or smooth?" Another is titled: "I had my first orgy with the girls - the video is 13 minutes long."

But Marcela told local media on 26 May: "I'm just showing my body, I'm not doing anything wrong. I was judged, excluded and felt betrayed, even by other women.

"But at the same time, I gained freedom and financial independence. Today I feel stronger."

Marcela, who started playing for her team as a 10-year-old, added: "It's sad but I leave the sport with a clear conscience. If I'd had this financial return from sport, I would never have left it."

Her club refused to comment to Brazilian media.
