It was reported this week that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola "dreams" of bringing Dani Olmo to the Premier League as he searches for a new attacking midfielder. Olmo's agent has claimed the player is happy at Barcelona, however.

Huijsen completes Real Madrid move
Spain international defender Dean Huijsen completed his move from Bournemouth to Real Madrid on Saturday. The official statement from the Cherries read: "AFC Bournemouth can confirm that defender Dean Huijsen will join Real Madrid following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season, with the Spanish side having activated a £50 million release clause."
Madrid wrote: "Real Madrid CF and AFC Bournemouth have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Dean Huijsen, who remains tied to our club for the next five seasons, from June 1, 2025, to June 30, 2030."
Martinez likely to leave Aston Villa in the summer
Emiliano Martinez appeared to wave goodbye to the fans at Villa Park after Aston Villa beat Tottenham 2-0 in their final home game of the 2024-25 campaign. The World Cup-winning goalkeeper had tears in his eyes after the full-time whistle as he left the pitch.
Per journalist Gaston Edul, the Argentine custodian is all set to leave the Villans at the end of the 2024-25 campaign. He has offers from two top European clubs, while a Saudi Pro League side also want the goalkeeper. The 32-year-old, however, is likely to reject the Saudi offer to stay at the highest level in Europe to prepare for the 2026 World Cup.

Arteta hints Arsenal will spend big to bring in new striker
Mikel Arteta has hinted that Arsenal will spend big as they prepare to sign a new centre-forward this summer.
Speaking to reporters, Arteta said: "The thing is that the budget is like when you have your wedding, you plan your wedding with your wife and you give her a budget and never less, and it's always more. When you build a house it's always more. Normally this happens. And you prepare for different scenarios. Then unfortunate things happen. Sometimes we want a player and suddenly we have an injury or that player gets injured. There are so many variables that can happen but there is a budget. There is always an idea of what we can do, what we can improve, what the priorities are going to be and then let's see if we can do it."
