Rebekah Vardy seemed to put the recent Wagatha Christie saga behind her over the weekend, as she was seen enjoying a beer with Leicester City supporters.

The spouse of footballer Jamie Vardy, 43, has finally agreed to pay Coleen Rooney £1.19 million towards her legal fees following their bitter High Court dispute.

Rebekah has yet to publicly comment on having to fork out the hefty sum to her rival, 39. However, she appeared carefree and untroubled by her legal troubles when she turned up to watch Nottingham Forest play against Leicester City in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw.

Seen in the away end, donning a Leicester shirt and designer sunglasses atop her head, beer in hand, Rebekah looked content and at ease as she posed for a selfie with a fan.

She was also captured among the crowd watching the game as her husband, Jamie, attempted but failed to net his 200th goal for the Foxes in a match that had both sets of fans on their toes.

Post-match, Rebekah posed with Jamie and their children, who were proudly wearing Leicester City shirts in support of the striker, who has confirmed he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, reports the Mirror.

Rebekah's day out follows the latest development in the Wagatha Christie trial. The mother-of-five found herself embroiled in one of the nation's most high-profile court cases after trying to sue Coleen following the Liverpudlian's now notorious social media post in 2019.

Coleen, the wife of Man Utd legend Wayne, took to social media to disclose that she had been secretly conducting a sting operation after numerous stories from her private social media were leaked to the press. The astute Liverpudlian narrowed down the accounts with access to her posts to identify the culprit.

In 2019, she revealed on social media: "It was..... Rebekah Vardy's account," after blocking all her followers from viewing her Instagram Stories. These included a fabricated story about her planning a trip to Mexico for gender selection and considering a stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

Rebekah vehemently denied the accusations, suggesting her Instagram account had been hacked. However, she lost the ensuing defamation case against Coleen and has now been ordered to pay nearly £1.2million.

A specialist costs court was previously informed that Coleen accumulated a legal bill of over £1.8 million after successfully defending Rebekah's High Court claim in 2022.

In written submissions for a hearing last Tuesday, Rebekah's barrister, Juliet Wells, stated that Coleen's total legal bill of £1,833,906.89 "has now been settled at £1,190,000, being c.£1,125,000 plus interest of c.£65.000".
