Is Dean Huijsen off to Real Madrid? Bournemouth defender hires law firm to negotiate with Spanish giants after already receiving Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool offers

WHAT HAPPENED?

Bournemouth defender Huijsen has enjoyed a standout campaign, impressing at the back as the Cherries surpassed their previous best points tally in the Premier League. There are still three fixtures remaining, but speculation over the Spain international's future has ramped up over the past few months, with Madrid known to be interested alongside the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

According to SER Deportivo, Huijsen's father, Donny, has hired a law firm to act on the centre-back's behalf and negotiate a potential transfer with Madrid. They are hopeful of receiving an offer soon so they can decide an exit strategy with Bournemouth, who only signed the 20-year-old last year from Juventus. The player's representatives say that Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham have all submitted concrete offers to sign him this summer.

DID YOU KNOW?

Los Blancos are expected to recruit a new central defender this summer, having experienced a number of injury issues in the position throughout the current campaign. Huijsen has plenty of admirers but Arsenal star William Saliba has also been linked with a move to the Bernabeu.
