AFC Fylde relegated after defeat to Halifax

AFC Fylde’s relegation from the National League was confirmed after a 1-0 defeat to Halifax.
Ryan Galvin’s first-half goal means David Longwell’s side will be back in National League North next season.
In the 28th minute Adam Senior headed a cross back across the penalty area and Galvin powerfully nodded the ball home.
Play-off chasers Halifax almost doubled their lead seven minutes into the second half but Luca Thomas saw his fierce drive crash back off the crossbar.
