Bayern director admits Muller mistake

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl admitted that he made a mistake by commenting on Thomas Muller's contract extension in January. Earlier this week, Muller announced that he would leave his boyhood club at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

Following Muller's announcement, Eberl has now admitted to his mistake as he told Sky Sports Germany: "I made that statement in January, and everything is rightly building around it.
