Michael Cheek scored twice from the spot as Bromley crushed Accrington 4-0 in Sky Bet League Two.
Cameron Congreve netted in the first half before Cheek’s penalty brace and a Ben Thompson header rounded off a comfortable home victory.
Cheek provided the first moment of quality in the game, crashing Congreve’s cross against the underside of the crossbar.
Bromley took a deserved lead on the half hour, Congreve striking the ball through a sea of legs and an unsighted Billy Crellin.
Cheek went close to doubling the lead but Crellin did well to deny him before producing an even better save from Danny Imray just before the interval.
Bromley doubled their lead 10 minutes after the restart, Cheek smashing home his 20th goal of the season from the spot after Faz Rawson was adjudged to have handled the ball.
Thompson made the game all but safe with a stooping header at the back post before Cheek ended the contest with his second penalty of the game.
The defeat means Accrington fall to 22nd in League Two, six points above the drop zone, while Bromley climb to 12th.
