Harry Kane breaks silence on Man Utd and Liverpool transfer rumours as stance clear

Harry Kane has been linked with a surprise return to the Premier League in recent weeks.

Despite recent rumours linking him with a sensational move back to the Premier League, Harry Kane appears to have dismissed any possibility of a move this summer. Even though Liverpool are on track to clinch the title, with a 12-point lead over Arsenal and just nine games remaining, it's evident that new manager Arne Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes will have their work cut out in the upcoming transfer window.
A top priority for Liverpool is securing a new striker, as Darwin Nunez seems set to depart after three seasons and both Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz have been struggling with form. Potential targets include Newcastle's Alexander Isak and Atletico Madrid's Julian Alvarez, who Liverpool expressed interest in last summer when he was leaving Manchester City.
Surprisingly, England captain Kane has also been mentioned as a possible recruit, with some even suggesting Liverpool could be his preferred destination amid rumoured interest from Manchester United. However, Kane has addressed the speculations, indicating that he has no plans to leave Bayern Munich in the near future.
"[There are] a few random stories out there for sure, yeah," he told ESPN. "I don't know where they come from, but for sure I'm happy here at Bayern Munich."
Kane's contract at the Allianz Arena is secured until 2027, amidst whispers of an agreement that would allow him to return to Tottenham. But he has continued to play down any such suggestion.
"I'm not sure, I've said throughout my whole career, I'm not someone who likes to think too far ahead," Kane admitted. "I'm extremely happy here. I think we have a fantastic team, fantastic coaching staff.
"Whilst I feel like I'm in the best condition I want to play at the highest level possible and this is as high as it gets.
"I know a lot can change in football in a short space of time and things can happen, but ultimately my focus is here. I'm not thinking about any other league or any other team.
"With football, I like to just go with the flow and at the moment the flow is here at Bayern Munich."
