Ebbsfleet relegation confirmed after entertaining draw with Aldershot

Ebbsfleet’s relegation from the National League was confirmed despite a spirited 3-3 draw with Aldershot.
The writing has been on the wall for a long time for the bottom side but this was one of their better performances, with the Fleet leading 3-2 after only half an hour.
The Shots led twice through Ryan Jones in the 14th minute and Josh Barrett five minutes later but Franklin Domi levelled in between, while George Moncur made it 2-2 in the 27th minute.
Three minutes later Aaron Cosgrave put the visitors ahead but Tyler Frost clinched a point for 16th-placed Shots with a 67th-minute penalty.
