A former Premier League star has proposed a Bonnie Blue conspiracy theory
Adult star Bonnie Blue is part of a bizarre Ukraine conspiracy theory according to ex-Premier League star David Cotterill.
Cotterill, who represented Wales 24 times between 2005 and 2018 - and played in the Premier League for Wigan, proposed the theory on Saturday (February 22) morning.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Cotterill posted: "It's funny this clown woman sleeping with a thousand men is coming out when Ukraine have been exposed. It's all done by design to distract people. Wakey Wakey..."
Cotterill was referring to Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, after she claimed to have slept 1,057 men in 12 hours.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump made false claims that Ukraine had "started" its ongoing with war with Russia. Trump told Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy: "You've been there for three years.
"You should have ended it. You should have never started it. You could have made a deal."
One football fan responded to Cotterill's claims on social media: "Quite the career path going from 100 appearances for Birmingham to accusing adult stars of interfering in the Ukraine war..."
"Stop letting footballers head the ball," a second said. While another added: "Bonnie Blue being used as a Ukraine cover up is a whole new level..."
Bonnie Blue claims to have slept with over 1000 men in one day
"To think we're spending millions studying the impacts of heading footballs when we have Cotterill, Barton, Lambert, and Le Tissier, just roaming free," a fourth posted.
However, Cotterill wasn't phased by negative comments - and he doubled down on his take: "People are miles off it. So many are only just gathering covid was all corrupt.
"They aren't ready for the Ukraine s*** yet…"
Cotterill hung up his boots in 2018 after spells with Wigan, Sheffield United and Birmingham. However he did briefly come out of retirement for spells with Barry Town United and Newtown in his native Wales.
