Newcastle readying bid for Bournemouth winger Tavernier

Newcastle United are eyeing Bournemouth winger Marcus Tavernier.

The Sun says Newcastle are preparing a summer bid for Tavernier.

Newcastle believe Bournemouth would be willing to sell for a fee of £25m.

Tavernier is a former Toon academy player and would be open to a return to the Northeast.

He has two goals across 19 league games this season, along with five assists.
