Jose Mourinho handed one lucky fan the opportunity of a lifetime when he invited him onto the Fenerbahce team bus and then invited him for lunch

Jose Mourinho showed his true colours and gave a fan the moment of a lifetime.

Mourinho, 62, rocked up at Fenerbahce over the summer - the Special One is looking to win their first title since 2014, and he's currently second behind bitter rivals Galatasaray.

However, ahead of a recent clash with Alanyaspor the Turkish giants were met with a sea of fans, one of whom ran in front of the vehicle with his fist raised in the air. Seeing the youngsters passion - Mourinho decided to invite him onto the team bus.

Mourinho asked him to sing his favourite Fenerbahce song before allowing him to meet some of the players.

The youngster couldn't believe his luck when he met his favourite star Sebastian Szymanski, as well as other notable figures like Edin Dzeko, Sofyan Amrabat and Caglar Soyuncu.

He would then accompany Mourinho to lunch at Fenerbahce's catering facilities, who let him know he could have anything he wanted.

It's not the first time that Mourinho has shown off his softer side - and he did the same at Roma in 2023, when he allowed local kids into the training ground to watch a live session.

Mourinho, however, had been critical of football in Turkey. He publicly criticised the level of refereeing in the league, and he was fined £15,000 following a 3-2 win over Trabzonspor after what was deemed excessive celebration and criticism of the VAR official.

He also took a swipe at bitter rivals Galatasaray over the weekend, where Adana Demirspor walked off the pitch after conceding a soft penalty to Galatasaray.
