Welcome the WAGs of the Premier League after the transfer window: A French supermodel at Tottenham

This winter transfer window was one of the busiest in Premier League history, with almost £400 million spent.

A number of clubs reinforced their squads with quality players, but it was Manchester City who accounted for almost half the money spent.

The new signings will be eager to make their mark during the second half of the season in arguably the most competitive league in the world.

Fans saw some expensive acquisitions such as Uzbekistan international Abdukodir Khusanov and La Masia product Nico Gonzalez joining City, while attacking reinforcements in the shape of Donyell Malen and Marco Asensio were brought in by Aston Villa.

These stars will be supported and helped to settle by their wives and girlfriends, many of whom are new faces to the league.

Indira Ampiot - Mathys Tel (Tottenham)

In a shock U-turn on deadline day, Mathys Tel finally agreed to join Tottenham on loan from Bayern Munich, where he lacked playing time due to the fierce competition in the Bundesliga side's attacking line.

The 19-year-old forward - who reportedly was also negotiating with Manchester United and Arsenal - did not come alone to London and brought Miss Universe 2024 top-30 contender Indira Ampiot with him.

She is one of the most famous models in France, gaining recognition after winning the national prize in 2023.

Rumours about Ampiot's relationship with the Spurs newcomer emerged at the end of 2024 amid reports from Germany that she was spotted attending Bayern's games and sharing Instagram Stories of the pair.

Earlier, it was understood that the model wanted to pursue Communication Studies in Paris. However, these plans have probably changed since Tel's departure to Tottenham.

Ampiot is also clearly interested in fashion and tourism, sharing pictures on her Instagram page with 435,000 followers.

Delisha Malen - Donyell Malen (Aston Villa)

Donyell Malen moved to Aston Villa in the middle of January after a month-long saga between the Birmingham club and Borussia Dortmund due to disagreements over a fee for the Dutch player.

The Premier League side ultimately improved their initial offer to £21million, which could grow up to £27.7m depending on Malen's performance and agreed add-ons.

The former Arsenal academy player will be accompanied by his wife, Delisha Malen, with whom the forward has been dating since he was in youth teams.

Despite not many details being known about Delisha, including when the pair married, it is known that she graduated in 2019 from a business school in Eindhoven, while also holding a make-up artist qualification.

The pair have a child together, and when Donyell completed his move to Birmingham, Delisha shared a picture on her Instagram page, writing: 'So blessed. Proud of you and ready for our next chapter'

Furthermore, she pinned a picture with the couple to her profile, captioning: 'My 1/2, thank you for being my peace.

While not much information about Delisha is disclosed, it is understood that she graduated in 2019 from a business school in Eindhoven

Geraldine Villagra - Diego Gomez (Brighton)

The former team-mate of Lionel Messi and Paraguay international Diego Gomez joined Brighton via a pre-agreed transfer on January 1.

The 21-year-old is reportedly dating influencer and model Geraldine Villagra, who regularly posts clips of their relationship on social media.

Villagra has already moved to Brighton but is a big travel fan, enjoying trips to Paris, London and Orlando.

Last year, after Paraguay lost to Egypt in the Paris Olympics semi-final, Geraldine dedicated some words of encouragement to her boyfriend.

She said: 'I admire you for everything you are and all the courage you put in, once again you left our colors high, you made an entire country happy, my captain.

'God's plans are perfect! I love you'
