Chelsea are reportedly offering Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall or Carney Chukwuemeka to Everton as the Toffees look to end Armando Broja's loan prematurely.

Everton are itching to cut ties with Broja, as the Albanian frontman will remain out of action until April with a severe ankle ligament injury.

Since his arrival in late August, which was already marred by Achilles issues, the hapless striker has struggled at Goodison Park, clocking up a mere six appearances without a goal or assist to his name.

Eager to bolster their attack, and thereby fill the spot taken up by Broja, the Blues are launching an alternative – but Chelsea are not keen on having the centre-forward back at Stamford Bridge.

And they've tabled the idea of offloading one of their other assets to Everton in order to let Broja return, proposing the prospect of the Merseyside club taking on either Dewsbury-Hall or Chukewuemeka.

Dewsbury-Hall arrived from Leicester last summer for £30million and has bagged two goals in 16 games, mostly in the Europa Conference League. While ex-Aston Villa midfielder Chukwuemeka's playing time has been limited to just five appearances this season.

Everton would naturally lean towards recruiting a bonafide striker if Broja's deal is cut short despite Chelsea offering them two midfielders. With talks ongoing, manager David Moyes revealed: "At the moment, I don’t think there’s a final decision that’s been taken.

"But I think what you’re suggesting in the conversations we’ve had is that is a possibility, but at this moment in time, it’s not confirmed quite yet."
