According to The Guardian, manager Graham Potter is urgently seeking attacking reinforcements, and Silva is seen as a viable option in a challenging January transfer market. The 29-year-old Portugal international has found game time limited this season, with Benjamin Sesko and Lois Openda ahead of him in Leipzig's pecking order.

Al Nassr exploring Ronaldo contract extension

Al Nassr are reportedly engaged in discussions to extend Cristiano Ronaldo's contract, which is currently set to expire at the end of this season, according to Sky Sports.

With the Portuguese star turning 40 next month, the Saudi club is keen to secure his services beyond the current term. Al Nassr currently occupy third place in the Saudi Pro League, trailing leaders and reigning champions Al-Hilal by nine points.

Chukwuemeka off to Borussia Dortmund?

Per Sky Germany, Dortmund have initiated direct talks with Chelsea in a bid to land their midfielder Chukwuemeka in the January transfer window. The Bundesliga side see the 21-year-old as the perfect candidate to play as a No.8 and are eyeing a loan move for the youngster.
