The Vancouver Whitecaps parted ways with manager Vanni Sartini on Monday, with the 48-year-old departing after just over three years as the club's manager.

He led them to an eighth place finish in the West during the regular season, before a 5-0 Wildcard round playoff victory over the Portland Timbers followed by a Round 1 best-of-three series exit to No. 1 seed LAFC in the postseason in 2024.

Manchester United are reportedly looking to freshen up their attack for Ruben Amorim and are considering two Bundesliga forwards as potential targets.

As per Sky Germany, Manchester United have earmarked Eintracht Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush and Bayer Leverkusen's Victor Boniface for the winter transfer window, as the Red Devils want to hand Amorim the best possible squad to try and rescue United's poor start to the season.
