The Netherlands international only joined Man Utd in the summer after impressing at Bologna, but he's endured a difficult start to life at Old Trafford, unable to repeat his fine form from his spell in Serie A.
Sources with a close understanding of the situation have informed CaughtOffside that Juventus are keen to sign Zirkzee on loan, as they've long admired the player after his successful previous spell in Italian football.

However, CaughtOffside understands that Juve would want United to continue to pay a sizeable chunk of Zirkzee's wages if he were to move, and that's something the Red Devils are not currently considering.
Joshua Zirkzee in action for Manchester United
Could Joshua Zirkzee really leave Man United already?
Zirkzee is undoubtedly struggling at United, but it certainly seems a bit harsh for the club to be thinking about letting him go already.
The 23-year-old clearly remains highly rated if a big name like Juventus are interested in him, with the Turin giants understood to be exploring options to strengthen their attack amid some uncertainty over a new contract for Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic.
It might be that Zirkzee would be tempted to move back to Italy to try to revive his career, though it could also surely be worth him trying to win favour with new manager Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.
Zirkzee is, after all, far from the only player to struggle at United this season, with the team as a whole really under-performing under Erik ten Hag, who was recently sacked.
It could be wise for United to give Zirkzee a bit more time to see if Amorim can help him fulfil his true potential, though it still seems likely that this could be a situation to watch as we get closer to January.
