Rio and Kate Ferdinand have told fans their little boy Cree was rushed to hospital while on holiday.

Former TOWIE star Kate told fans that he had broken his collar bone while they were abroad. She shared a snap of him in an ambulance.

The 33-year-old was seen kissing her son as he lay down on an ambulance bed.

"It's been sleepless nights, cuddles, TV and chocolate since."

Cree's accident happened towards the end of their family holiday. He needed emergency care and was taken to a nearby hospital.

Three-year-old Cree is Kate and Rio's eldest child together. They also share Shae, who was born last year. Rio also has three children – Lorenz, Tate and Tia – from his marriage to late wife Rebecca Ellison.

Kate and Rio recently celebrated five years of marriage together. Essex beauty Kate paid tribute with a throwback to their wedding in Turkey.

They tied the knot on a beach in Marmaris, in 2019. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family members.

Speaking previously about their relationship, Rio told OK!: "I definitely wasn't looking for someone at the time. I didn't think it was possible, I wasn't open to bringing someone in to become a step-mum to the kids.

"Things don't always go the way you imagine. Meeting Kate changed everything and sometimes it's just fate.

"I knew Kate was special from the moment I met her. It was pretty instant, but seeing her with the kids cemented everything; that was a huge part of it for me."
