Jurgen Klopp's £4million mansion is up for sale as photographs offer a glimpse inside the seven-bed home, after Liverpool FC's new manager Arne Slot turned down an offer to move in.

The mansion, in Formby, is on the market with Berkeley Shaw Real Estate for £4.25million. The property has been owned by Liverpool FC for a number of years and tenants included Brendan Rogers and Steven Gerrard.

New manager Slot and his wife Mirjam were shown around the seven-bed home but have decided to move elsewhere.

Jurgen and his wife Ulla Sandrock moved into the house in 2015. The home, one of many on Liverpool's 'Millionaires Row', boasts three lounges, a home cinema, a steam room, a spa, an indoor swimming pool, and a landscaped garden.

Liverpool FC bought it from ex-manager Brendan Rodgers, who in turn bought it from former captain Steven Gerrard.

Rodgers was sacked in October 2015 but kept the property and rented it to Klopp. Four years later, Liverpool bought the property as an investment and are said to have allowed Klopp to stay on rent-free.

John Baybut, Managing Director, Berkeley Shaw Real Estate, said: "This is an exceptional home in a beautiful part of the country. Many will be aware of the property's recent history and we look forward to playing a part in it's future."
